Come and soak in the Holiday Spirit as we take over the Hoyt Mezzanine with wrapping paper, bows, and festive music! Bring a gift or two to wrap, and we'll learn some new wrapping techniques to make that gift look extra special!

New this fall! Pick a recipe from this month's cookbook, test it out, and bring enough to share when we meet! Please include any food allergies when you register. Recipe copies will be available at Butman-Fish reference desk.

Join us Mondays starting in November for our new Kids Zone program! Every Monday at 6:30 pm we will have a different program for elementary-aged kids! All kids are invited; children under 7 need an adult helper.

Every month we'll read a new non-fiction book that delves into the stories, phenomena, and people that make our world so much stranger - and in some ways, more interesting - than fiction.

Join us every Tuesday for stories, songs, finger plays, learning activities, crafts and more! Activities are aimed at toddlers aged 18 months - 3 years old, but this storytime is open to all ages.

Lessons on the continental knitting technique to be given to beginners. Experienced knitters can bring their own projects for a socializing evening. Registration is required via our website or by calling Zauel.

Create a unique piece with Painterly Pottery.  Items will be fired and returned to library for pickup.  Program is for teens and their immediate family.  Snacks provided!

Join us for a new, interactive, storytime on Thursdays starting in November! Wear comfy clothes and get ready to move and groove with Miss Beth as we sing, dance, jump, crawl, stretch, and wiggle during Miss Beth's Boombox!

Join us for an hour or 2 of needle arts at Hoyt Library. Bring a project to work on or a project that you need help with! All needlework is welcome. Second Saturday of the month, 10 am - 12 pm.

A discussion of the book Murder in Michigan's Upper Peninsula by Sonny Longtine with Hoyt Library Local History and Genealogy Library Assistant Leo LeFevre.

This 60-minute beginner-friendly class is a "slow" to "no-flow" class that includes seated and standing postures.  Please bring a mat. If you use blankets, blocks, or any other props for your yoga practice, feel free to bring them.
