Friday Flicks with Riverside Film Festival

Do you miss the Valley Film Society? Join us for a series of independent, foreign, and art house films at the library! In collaboration with Riverside Film Festival, we'll show a movie on selected Fridays and leave plenty of time afterward for discussion.

On this date, we will be watching The Monk and the Gun (2023, 1hr. 51min.) An American travels into Bhutan in search of a valuable antique rifle and crosses paths with a young monk who wanders through the serene mountains instructed by his teacher to make things right again.
