Program Description

Description

Join us in our Chinese restaurant at Zauel.  Jennifer Vannette of the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History will speak about the Lum family and the first Chinese restaurant in Saginaw.  Following will be a discussion of the Great Michigan Read, Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant.  Then, a three course "meal" will be served consisting of items culturally significant in Chinese New Year celebrations. (NOT a real meal... you should eat beforehand!)   A simple Chinese New Year craft will be available to make or to take out.
