Program Description

Description

November is National Novel Writing Month, so it's a perfect time to launch your next writing project at Zauel Library! This three-hour seminar with author Dave Vizard will help you define your individual writing project and generate some new material with some creative writing exercises.

  • What is your goal?
  • What is the message you want to convey?
  • Who is your audience?
  • How are you going to tell the story?

Dave Vizard is the former managing editor of The Bay City Times and editor of True North Magazine. He has a BA degree in journalism and a Masters in mass communication. He has taught journalism and writing at the college level.

Dave has written and published six novels. They are part of a murder mystery series, focusing on the exploits of news reporter Nick Steele in the Great Lakes Bay and Thumb regions of Michigan. His books are available via Amazon and Kindle.
