Freedom is at Home

From being denied the right to own a home to intentionally curating a sacred space to feel both safe and comfortable in, interior decoration holds significant value in African-American homes and in their culture. Butman-Fish Library celebrates Black freedom by offering a drop-in craft for families to decorate a home décor statement piece while spending quality time together.
