This year marks a remarkable milestone for one of Saginaw's most treasured institutions—Hoyt Library celebrates its 135th anniversary! Since its founding in 1890, Hoyt Library has stood as a beacon of knowledge, community, and architectural beauty in the heart of downtown Saginaw.
To celebrate, we are gathering together at the library for a community-inspired event! Join us Saturday, November 1st for a variety of fun programs:
- 11:00am - Hoyt in 1890, Presentation by Chief Historian Tom Trombley of the Castle Museum
- 11:30am - Historical Tour of the library
- 2:00pm - Happy Birthday, Hoyt! Storytime with crafts and snacks
- 3:30pm - Saginaw History/Vintage Postcard Making
