Author Visit: Jeff Vande Zande

Saginaw Public Libraries welcomes Jeff Vande Zande, Delta College professor and award-winning author. Vande Zande will offer a brief presentation on some of the history of the dystopian genre in literature, followed by a reading from his book, Rules of Order. Montag Press out of California recently released Vande Zande's fifth novel, Rules of Order. Rules of Order is a dystopian novel that tells the tale of Harvey Crowe. Crowe lives in the last habitable high-rise in a wrecked city. He works tirelessly to warn other tenants that the weight of their possessions could bring the building down. As his message goes unheard, he realizes that more desparate measures are necessary to save their home.
